It would seem appropriate to have a dress code for these tours. Everywhere we stop we give a witness. We want the trip to be comfortable and memorable for everyone so we have set forth guidelines that are reasonable and still allow room for personal preference. Please let your desire to bring honor to Jehovah’s name be reflected in how you dress. All clothing, casual, touring or while we are at a Kingdom property, should be clean, neat, and modest. Before packing, review the April 04 Kingdom Ministry, page 6 paragraphs 3 & 4. which considers "Chaste, Praiseworthy Personal Appearance". As well you should review the March 2008 Kingdom Ministry Question Box, "What Type of clothing is appropriate when visiting facilities used for Jehovah's service?" Comfortable shoes are a must as there is extended walking on tour. Those that require a wheelchair for tours, should advise us in advance, the Society has a limited number of wheelchairs at each location.

At the US Holocaust Memorial you should dress with respect.

Dress code on bus only days? The following dress is appropriate when traveling on the bus en route:

Loose fitting clothes are fine and well suited to traveling long distances and sleeping on the bus. If jeans are worn they should not have holes or worn-out spots in them or look as is they are about to fall down around the ankles. Never go outside the bus barefooted. Shorts (not cutoffs), slightly above the knee and loose fitting, are acceptable, i.e., walking shorts.

We should remember that at all times and in all things (1 Corinthians 10:31) "Therefore, whether YOU are eating or drinking or doing anything else, do all things for God’s glory. . ."
