Modern, Large and Comfortable
Many years ago (in the late
70's) I began my tour career taking groups of very rowdy men to Montreal to see the Montreal Expos play baseball. I drove and escorted on a glorified school bus, with no air conditioning, reclining seats or even air ride suspension. Today is much different.
Our modern motorcoach today is a marvel.
We use Trius Inc, a Fredericton company that I worked for as a bus driver and tour operator. Our coach has 58 seats, of which we use 56. The two extra seats allow us to have a table set up with four seats facing. A perfect place to do some personal study or play a game or two. We are proud to feature twice daily seat rotation. If you have ever been on tour before and never moved from your seat at the back, you will appreciate this. Seat rotation is a standard in the commercial tour industry and allows you to have someone new to talk to across the aisle twice a day and to sit to the front and the back in the coach. The young people on tour generally will move rearward after the text each day to associate and those who want to and are at the back can move forward. The seat rotation just is a more fair system.
The interior is well fitted out and features overhead luggage compartments, individual lighting and air control, reclining
seats, and wonderful panoramic viewing. As well we have a public address system on board and a DVD and televisions. This system allows us to play the Society's videos and very carefully selected commercial movies. As well as have daily text and prayer and the WT study.
Each day we start with a prayer and then once on the road we do the daily text and each are invited to make comments. On Sunday we will do the Watchtower Study, with various brothers reading and each again invited to make comments. We also sing praises to Jehovah, a wonderful way for us all to join together to praise Him.
When we arrive at each hotel, you will stay on the coach until your tour host returns with your keys and room assignments. We stop every 2 hours or so for breaks, and at lunch time at a restaurant. (fast food only if we are behind schedule). We expect each to return to the bus as directed by the tour hosts, this again helps the tour to function correctly.
I reserve the right to change motorcoach companies for any reason, substituting for one of equal or better quality. I act only as your agent in the chartering of this motorcoach and am not responsible for the change or price increases by the owners of the coach.
